The developments in footwear technology by the German brand are constant. Their latest innovation comes in the form of a new sports shoe designed for both walking and running -the SWITCH FWD-. Its standout feature is the unique sole structure, featuring a series of transverse holes in the EVA midsole.
The technical and functional principle behind this design is that these holes, influenced by the user's weight, flex and collapse, resulting in a greater forward propulsion and movement when they open up. Essentially, it's a transformation of weight into movement.
This transfer of weight in motion allows for greater takeoff capacity and smoothness in the step. The lightweight and flexible EVA midsole work in harmony with the TPU outsole, ensuring a stable and cushioned transition through the sole and midfoot during forward movement.
The product is completed with a woven upper, highly resistant and flexible, in a special pattern that allows for better breathability.
