CASTAÑER: Craftsmanship and beauty in raffia and jute footwear

Since 1927, the Spanish brand CASTAÑER, based in Banyoles, Girona, Catalonia, has enjoyed a rising trajectory and recognition in footwear production, not only nationally but also internationally. Initially, the brand specialized in the artisanal crafting of traditional jute espadrilles, later expanding to include other lines with greater design and fashion value. As a result, their models caught the attention of major film and entertainment figures, who by wearing them, positioned the products in the highest consumption segments.

Raffia and jute are the basic materials used in the production of high and flat sandals and slides, featuring creative designs and sophisticated details.

In 2010, CASTAÑER received the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts, an award granted by the Ministry of Culture of Spain.
