Discover the moccasin-sneaker! The surprising proposal from NEW BALANCE

With the collaboration of Japanese designer Junya Watanabe, NEW BALANCE has transformed its classic NB 1906 sneakers into a highly disruptive hybrid model that combines two basic concepts: the runner sneaker with the moccasin.

The upper is made of materials typical of sports footwear, using mesh and mesh knitted fabrics, with overlaid appliqués of stitched synthetic pieces and high-frequency bonding. The sole, with a distinctly sporty character, respects the moldings of the reference model, featuring the bubble system in the heel.

Into this whole ensemble, the design of the moccasin with its classic stitching, vamp, and saddles has been incorporated into the upper part.

This reinvention of classic modeling gives it a contemporary twist, where the fusion reconciles lovers of moccasins and sports shoes for a novel retro-futuristic casual look.

The new collection is presented in traditional colors like black and white, complemented by saturated tones such as pure and luminous green.
