FLOWER MOUNTAIN sneakers: Asian DNA and international success

The brand was born in 2015 from the meeting of Keisuke Ota from Tokyo and Yang Chao from Beijing, when they attended the Fuji Rock Festival, Japan's largest. They both shared a passion for music, trekking and sneakers. Thus, the idea of designing functional and attractive footwear for these activities emerged, with the name FLOWER MOUNTAIN, inspired by the topography and flora of the area.

After adding entrepreneur Federica Wang and founding Breath Design Co. Ltd/Tokyo, they began designing their first collections. This was followed by a partnership with ShoesBar and the Italian company Falc SpA, projecting the brand internationally, with great success in various regions of the world.

Currently, FLOWER MOUNTAIN has a strong identity in the fashion and outdoor sneaker segment, thanks to its unique designs that have gained the preference of many consumers.

The products feature highly crafted uppers with an artisanal style, where a set of pieces with organic shapes, combined in different colors, achieve a high aesthetic appeal. The materials used are suede leather and technical fabrics, on recycled EVA soles, with side moldings and good thickness. The outsoles are made of rubber, with a high-traction texture.

One detail: all models have an exclusive comfort insole made of natural cork, treated with a mineral compound that prevents the formation of fungi and bacteria.
