Drawing clear inspiration from antique military footwear, lace-up boots are looking highly promising for the upcoming winter.

Their closed structure, featuring prominent lacing and a shaft that rises above the ankles, ensures optimal warmth.

The designs span various styles and draw from a wide range of influences, highlighting, for example, the strength of the soles, with good thickness and volume, combining with artisanal, retro, and minimalist uppers. The aesthetic flirts with outdoor, sporty, grunge, and motorcycle concepts.

For the uppers, preferred materials include matte finishes like suede and nubuck, in a blend of colors and textures. To further define themselves as winter products, some models incorporate fur accents such as lambskin and fleece.

The trend emphasizes shafts that fit snugly around the leg, where visual importance lies in the color combinations of the stitching, as well as the laces, usually ties with alpine hooks.
