NIKE and CPFM revive an old model and are a sensation

Through a collaboration with the creative collective CPFM -Cactus Plant Flea Market- founded by designer Cynthia Lu, NIKE has made available to followers connected to rap and hip-hop culture a new version of its traditional Dunk Low sneakers. These sneakers are gaining unique success in many youth segments that advocate for disruptive and exclusive streetwear fashion.

The sneakers, inspired by NIKE's classic Dunk Low sports shoe released in 1985, with a touch of Grunge, are now called CPFM x NIKE Dunk Low and are offered in two basic lines, with and without shafts.

They are made of padded suede material with a triangular stitching pattern -resembling a matelassé style- and overlay pieces on the laces, toe-end and heel.

The soles are made of rubber with rustic sidebands and "imperfect" edges on the upper. The padded tongues also feature thick laces that enhance the design.

Aesthetically, their uniqueness lies in the original color palette used, inspired by earthly and natural tones. Ochres, beiges, greens, and browns are the most commonly used.

These are very comfortable shoes that include a pair of differently designed insoles for each foot -left/right- with good cushioning properties.
