As shoe production systems are perfected, especially in injection processes, and particularly with the use of EVA -Ethylene-vinyl acetate-, the offer of this type of product grows incessantly.
Along with the greater ease of manufacturing and the properties of the material, which offer very light, flexible, comfortable and versatile footwear, more recently international fashion brands have joined this market segment, with differentiated products with greater fashion content, trying to capture a top-of-the-range consumption.
Originally the EVA material, which was and continues to be used for the manufacture of soles, has expanded its benefits beyond sandals, slides and clogs, to one-piece footwear, which is in increasing development.
Another factor that affects its growth is the productions in scale that can be obtained for middle ranges of consumption, where it is possible to achieve relatively competitive prices compared to other products of traditional manufacture.
