For the executive director of the PANTONE Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, the trendy colors for the coming Fall-Winter "convey a message of strength and determination with a sense of optimism". They are classic, versatile and timeless tones that speak of positivity and functionality.
The appearance of medium and light beiges, warm earthy and autumnal is very important. In addition to the independent participation of these tan tones, they can be combined with greens, yellows, blues and pinks, with sophisticated and elegant results. The brightest options in this proposal are peach and creamy almond pastel which, despite being soft and subdued, are stimulating and comforting, especials for products with warmth.
Among the red, with a marked magenta composition, we find Samba, a passionate and feminine, sensual and voluptuous maroon, which is the chromatic bet for the season. Within the same family, we highlight the presence of the red mandarin -oranged red-, vivid and energetic, dynamic and vibrant.
The light greenish yellows remain as optimistic and refreshing options, natural and delicate, easy to wear although they attract a lot of attention. Their most daring combinations are with maroon and purple.
The palette also includes deep green that recalls the colors of the forest, a dark, calm and autumnal tone that inspires confidence and relates very well to earthy ones. The classic military green will also be a trend, often in combinations with pink, yellow and rust.
Blues will occupy spaces in different classic, intense and vibrant versions. The darker ones will add elegance to the products.
For their part, gray in medium tones, along with black and white, will continue to be among the basic ones, with a special mention for the latter, which paradoxically will achieve greater presence next winter.
