General Concept: Fall-Winter 2024

Designs

In current footwear, there is an aesthetic convergence of different origins: retro, classic, futuristic, and sporty, which structurally define the product for its use.
It's likely that in the collections of ballerinas, moccasins, lace-ups shoes, boots, booties, and sneakers, some of these styles will appear, converging into a basic modeling that prioritizes comfort and functionality over aesthetics.Among the general guidelines, there is a presence of larger volumes in soles and lasts, preferably on flat and medium lines, with a good use of color, offering more diversity of tones, especially warm ones.
Within the trend, there are stereotypes that mark the direction, such as flat Mary Jane models, with transverse straps; classic and cowboy boots and booties; Dr. Martens recreations; athleisure and techno sports, among others. With the end of the pandemic and social reopening, the outdoor have been revalued, influencing winter modeling significantly.

Materials

The need for more warmth and protection opens the way to thick and bulky materials -leather and textiles- as well as technological synthetics, with various improvement processes. Regarding leather, the proposal includes smooth and soft surfaces, with original textures -floater-, with semi-glossy or matte finishes -suedes, nubucks, etc.-. Among the finishes, textures are exalted through stripes, reptiles, embossing, and geometric weaves.
The use of skins and fur is intense, as the main material or complement: lambskin, astrakhan, mink, and caribou, among others.
Textiles present a wide variety, led by thick handmade and retro fabrics; with Scottish motifs, herringbone tweeds, pied de poule, antique tapestries, flannels, polar fleece, and gabardines. The use of plain and patterned corduroy increases, along with velvets. Denim expands their presence in footwear and leather goods. The offer is completed by quilted materials and matelassés; and technical fabrics such as mesh knitted fabric and ripstop.

Soles

Volumes are often resources to highlight footwear within the set of clothing. As such, soles also grow, but in medium ranges, avoiding extremes. Thus, these components, at times, stop being complementary to become protagonists.
This is the case for soles for moccasins, which are thicker, with track or serrated profiles, significantly renewing the modeling. For traditional boots and booties, the soles are classic, with separate heels, contrasting welts, and new colors. For sporty and outdoor versions, side moldings and differentiated textures are incorporated.
Sneakers opt for cupsoles, in different heights and textures; in addition to chunky wedges, also with added colors and moldings.
High women's shoes are shown with straight and voluminous heels, laminated, painted, or covered. Thin and stylized ones are used in very specific models. Conical heels -cowboy style- have sustained demand due to the prevalence of this trend.

Colors

The evolution of fashion increasingly points towards a timeless use of the color palette.
The line that separates winter and summer tones becomes blurred. All seasons freely use the full range of colors to craft their footwear. Thus, this upcoming winter offers warmer and brighter shades (associated with summer) to break the monotony and formality.
It's worth noting, a wide range of colors influenced by the red-yellow spectrum, resulting in oxides, terracottas, burnt sugar, copper, mustard, and orange-browns. With a greater influence on red, there are burgundy, eggplant, and violet. Among the purest and brightest, green and Klein blue are preferred, followed by olive, palm, and lichen pastels. The list continues with petrol, Persian, indigo, and porcelain greenish blues.
Creamy beiges are suitable for casual and formal products, along with their peach, ash, and vanilla variants.
