Natural and decorative textures
In the leather offer, two very different currents coexist. On the one hand, the smooth surfaces, generally mono-colored, very soft and flexible, where opaque finishes - suede and nubuck -, semi-lucid -napa leather and floaters- and bright -patent leather- alternate. The metallic ones of intense use are added, that go from the most tenuous to the brightest, like the mirrored finishes. The other trend includes more elaborate leathers, with greater technological and artisanal contribution, where more prominent textures appear, with more colors and especially with a greater aesthetic added value. In this case, the processes are more complex, but they yield very innovative results.
Of the hand of the technology and a greater creative contribution, the textiles have obtained a high degree of participation in the footwear and manufactures elaboration. The offer is very diversified, attractive and voluminous.
In general, the trend indicates the preference for good thickness, handmade and good coat conditions materials. Here the old cloths, such as tartan, tweeds, Pied de Poule, Prince of Wales, lead the preferences, followed by velvets - smooth and prints -, embroidery, corduroy and jacquards.
Designs include diverse motifs, but there is a tendency towards oriental aesthetics. Wild furs and skins in different colors and finishes will be very required to denote warmth and naturalness in winter models.
