Materials Fall Winter 2020

To exalt the seasonality of products

Aesthetics with technological content

In natural leathers, smooth and opaque surfaces alternate with reptile, geometric, weft and fantasy engravings with suggestive glitters and colors, of high quality finish. Suedes, nubucks, brushed, wrinkled and aged add to this proposal; while in options of greater luminosity patent leather and metallized ones are shown, next to sectorized lacquers on transfers and diverse engravings. Three-dimensional motifs and iridescent finishes are frequent.
The general trend in materials is oriented to the creation of more elaborate surfaces, with greater volume and thickness, through engravings, incisions, seams, embossing, scales, furs, etc.

Sophisticated textures and finishes

Due to the predominant use of classic and retro booties, the greatest demand points to smooth, opaque and semi-lucid materials, flexible and with original porosities. Among the finishes, plain grains, floater, aged, slightly cracked, textured textiles, etc. stand out. Within the color offer black tones are preferred, followed by browns.
The skins and furs will be of intense use as complements of other materials, highlighting the temporality of the products. The animal print theme continues strongly on different types of surfaces: smooth, engraved, fur, etc.
The physical, chemical and creative processes on the materials are increased to obtain greater aesthetic value.

More elaborate and bulky surfaces

The greater aesthetic content on the materials can be seen in the incorporation of embroidery and seams, as in the case of classic and decorative matelassé, where original printed versions appear. These “inflated” surfaces or with featured textures add tactile value and warm conditions. For the rest, the theme of the materials permanently resort to retro, adding motifs of the oriental upholstery, Scots, "pied de poule", tweeds, etc.
Corduroy and plain and printed velvets are alternatives that also add volume to the materials and elegance to the final products. Within the proposal there are numerous options in overlapping materials, where nets and laces cover supports and laminated bases.

With coat conditions

Hand in hand with new designs, textiles increase their presence in footwear. A wide variety of canvases, cotton, wool, flannels, gabardine, velveteen, fleece, etc. in plain and various prints versions, will be offered for different product lines. On the other hand, handmade cloths, looms and antique, plain, marbled and multicolored fabrics will accentuate the retro profile of many models. The most used prints or motifs are the striped, "vichy" gridded, Scottish, floral, ethnic and oriental.
As for industrial fabrics, polyester, microfiber, double front, spandex, lurex and glitters are offered that add flexibility, elasticity and shine. Others appeal to wool supports for better thermal conditions.
