Nike's ACG Watercat series made its debut in 2006, designed and built for aquatic activities, with its main feature being the woven uppers made with cords.
Now, the brand reimagines the design and adapts it beyond its original purpose, positioning it for daily and urban use.
To achieve this, the upper is woven with an elastic cord that is assembled with a side panel on the sole, laces, and heel. This provides greater structure and thus better foot support.
In fact, the woven upper with an open weave allows for proper ventilation, providing maximum comfort conditions, especially in hot climates.
The soles are made of mixed rubber and the outsole has anti-slip textures.
The restyling of the original proposal seeks greater appeal based on the new colors used, in monochrome or combined versions, with saturated and contrasting tones.
