With Eastern influence, ADIDAS introduces a new model in the athleisure segment
Through a collaboration between the German three-stripe brand and Edison Chen -actor, singer, and designer born in Canada with Chinese heritage- comes the new sneaker-shoe model: ADIDAS CLOT SUPERSTAR By Edison Chen.
The proposal redefines creative innovation and cultural exchange, aiming to merge Eastern and Western expressions. The base design is a new version of the classic "Originals" silhouette, featuring a shell toe cap with hand-stitched ridges.
The most striking innovation appears in the sole: a gently wedged shape with considerable thickness, a sawtooth traction profile, and made of EVA. The upper part features a stitched welt, usually in contrast, topped with a leather piping that wraps around the entire perimeter of the shoe.
At the heel counter, a small perforated piece brings together a classic concept with a sporty touch.
