One of the latest proposals launched by the famous British designer, Stella McCartney, daughter of the eternal Beatle Paul, is the exclusive sandal model that combines elegance due to its wedge platform, with a differentiated heel, and originality due to the organic and curved shapes that the outsole presents. It acts as a support for the sole, giving it a unique look due to the particular treatment of the shapes.
The outsole is made of TR thermoplastic, while the larger volume of the wedge is produced with a similar ultralight compound, which is then lined with the material of the upper.
The upper made of synthetic materials, of very simple construction, is made up of a few thin strips, which are closed at the back with a small buckle.
Another detail, which adds to the identity of this product, is the original application of contrasting colours. Example: Lilac outsole with black upper, and black outsole with butter tone upper.
The same structure gives other design possibilities, where the strips of the upper are replaced by a single smooth upper.
These shoes are made in Italy, and the author of it clarifies that the products are not made of leather, in accordance with her animal cruelty-free spirit.
