Ministry of Defense acquires national footwear

In the first phase, a total of 75 thousand uniforms will be acquired by the Ministry of Defense, through the plan "Clothing for the Armed Forces to Strengthen the National Textile and Footwear Industry".

The National Defense Fund (FONDEF) finances this initiative, and 19 small and medium-sized companies from different parts of the country were included in the tender, through the COMPR.AR platform.

For the purchase of uniforms, 3.300 million pesos will be allocated, which will promote about 2.715 new jobs, as reported from the State website.
