ADIDAS IN CRISIS? The German government granted a loan for 3 billion euros

With the loan, the company tries to recover liquidity due to closing hundreds of stores around the world.

Leading sports accessories brand ADIDAS has get a loan, the total value of which is 3 billion euros, to help in the face of the fall in its businesses due to the coronavirus. The pandemic caused the massive closure of stores in Europe, North America and China, although in the latter country they are reopening again.

Germany's state bank KfW, the government's financial arm, contributed € 2.4 billion, while a group of private banks completed the remaining € 600 million.

The measure is within an aid plan to companies,, of hundreds of billions of euros, which the German government announced to alleviate the serious situation, due to the lack of liquidity.
