BOAONDA invests to expand
The injected footwear industry in Sapiranga, Rio Grande do Sul, belonging to the Grupo Mould (a mold manufacturing company), is making building and technological investments close to $1.8 million to increase production and expand markets. The main objective is the acquisition of new equipment dedicated to the production of the EVA compound for their footwear. BOAONDA's projection for 2023 is to grow by 12% in volume of pairs.
As part of its strategy, the brand participates in major global fairs, constantly expanding its customer base. It has an annual production of 1.5 million pairs, of which 18% are exported to more than 30 countries. Currently, the company employs 300 workers.
