Messe Frankfurt has acquired two textile and fashion salons in South Africa: SOURCE AFRICA and ATF for clothing, textiles and footwear. The two quotes will retain their current identities at first. The first edition under the protection of its new owner will take place in May 2018. ATF on the other hand, was held from November 21st to 23rd with 150 exhibitors from ten countries. This is the second news of Messe Frankfurt in Africa, since in October 2016, the German organizer announced the expansion in Addis-Abeba of its Texworld, Apparel Sourcing and Texprocess salons within the framework of SOURCING FASHION WEEK AFRICA. The decisions of the German company are a clear reference regarding the potential and projection that the African continent has in the international arena.
