GREEN SOLUTIONS is born to offer exclusive sustainable technologies for footwear

Through innovative processes, they create different options for sole production using recycled materials.

Sustainability is currently one of the main drivers of change for the fashion industry, which must increasingly engage with an informed audience with a growing environmental and social awareness.

GREEN SOLUTIONS, the new company that combines experience in the footwear mechanics world from MAIN GROUP TECHNOLOGIES with the technological know-how of PEGASO INDUSTRIES, is born to address the need to rethink existing production models based on sustainability and efficiency principles. The company's mission is realized through the design and construction of footwear sole production lines using recycled materials.

GREEN SOLUTIONS' new equipment is designed based on three key principles: sustainability, enabled by technologies that facilitate efficient waste valorization in production; traceability, using software to provide total control over raw materials and finished products, and automation, as an essential tool to maximize process efficiency, reduce time, and minimize waste.

"We want to offer our customers a turnkey service", explains Mirco Prai, CEO of GREEN SOLUTIONS. "We accompany them from the initial steps, including feasibility studies and cost analysis, to the installation and start-up of the plant. We know that many manufacturers want to adopt this technology but hesitate due to the complexity and application methods of these systems. We have specific knowledge in this field, and we make it available to our customers, guiding them step by step".

"With our systems, we can reduce raw material waste by up to 20%", adds Mariano Bonato, President of GREEN SOLUTIONS, "and increase automatable operations by up to 40%. These are significant, tangible and measurable. The outcomes allow us to make the footwear production cycle more sustainable, both by making it more efficient and by reintroducing waste materials into the process, something unthinkable not long ago".

The production lines integrate machinery for the direct injection of thermoplastic materials such as EVA and TPU with a range of auxiliary equipment for material feeding, dehumidification, and automatic dosing. The entire system operates in an automated and interconnected manner. Thus, the GREEN SOLUTIONS factory of the future is born.
