UBAC, the ecological sneakers manufactured in Franca/SP

According to the latest report from the Stylo Urbano blog, the new footwear is produced with 100% recycled wool, from old and disused clothes. The two young founders Mathilde and Simón had the idea when they discovered a material made from recycled wool. Undyed yarn is produced in a French spinning mill that has advanced technology to recycle old woolen garments. “Wool clothing arrives in bales and is crushed before it becomes new sneakers. The colors are those of the original pieces”, Mathilde explained.

The laces are of recycled polyester and the soles are of rubber, also recycled.
