VIA UNO: after bankruptcy proceedings, resumes activities

After having requested to initiate a process of "judicial recovery" to agree debts with creditors, the RR SHOES company, owner of the VIA UNO footwear brand, announced that in August it plans to reopen 100 jobs.

It had previously closed a manufacturing plant and laid off 800 workers.

According to the directors, the crisis was exacerbated by the consequences caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which meant losses of US $ 7.5 million.
