The Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico (APIMEX) -organizer of the event-, announced that the first version of 2023 of the Mexican supplier fair will take place between Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th April, in the Poliforum León exhibition center.
On the occasion, ANPIC will bring together local and foreign exhibitors and visitors to present the latest novelties in materials, supplies and technology for the footwear-leather; leather goods; clothing; textile; furniture and automotive sectors.
Between October 19th and 21st, the 60th edition of the exhibition was held, which consisted of 904 stands, which represented 31% more than in 2021.
The positive figures were also reflected among the visitors, with a 35% increase in attendance, totaling 8,720 people. Among the nationals, the representatives of Guanajuato, Jalisco, Puebla, Yucatán and San Luis Potosí prevailed.
International participation increased by 89%, with visitors and buyers from the United States, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Peru, China and Italy.
In addition, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Ireland, South Korea, Japan and Cuba were among the nations that were present at the fair.
The interest in the exhibited products -mainly leather and tanned hide; heels, lasts and soles; textiles and synthetics; and machinery-, generated business of more than 252 million Mexican pesos (US$ 12.5 million), both at the fair and in the short and medium term.
During the event, the ANPIC organizers proposed four workshops, related to finance, artificial intelligence, shoe technology and automatic sewing; in addition to a cycle of conferences that was attended by officials, members of entities and companies, according to APIMEX.
