ANPIC in Mexico: it will be face-to-face in May 2021

After the suspension of two live editions of ANPIC last year derived from the health contingency caused by Covid-19, one of the most important suppliers fairs in the American continent will resume its live format in 2021, receiving national and international visitors.

ANPIC will be held on May 26th, 27th and 28th at Poliforum León, in the city of León, in the state of Guanajuato, presenting the new materials and components for the Spring-Summer 2022 season, as well as machinery and technology.

After an exhaustive analysis of the current sanitary and economic conditions, the Board of Directors of the Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico (APIMEX), organizer of the supply fair, considers that the realization of this event is essential for the immediate reactivation of the industrial sector that has suffered the extinction of more than 3,000 jobs among its affiliates, in addition to large economic losses.

To carry out ANPIC in person, a digital visitor meter will be implemented in order to maintain the capacity allowed by the authorities, likewise, strict sanitary measures will be applied such as disinfection of areas, mandatory use of face masks, masks, antibacterial gel, disinfectant archs, temperature detectors, as well as ensuring a healthy distance between exhibitors and visitors.

With the new live edition of ANPIC, APIMEX seeks to encourage the economic activity of its associated supplier companies that generate more than 13 thousand direct jobs in 8 entities of the Mexican Republic.

Along with ANPIC, DIVEX will be held, the first multisectoral business fair of intermediate goods for the industry, where through an exhibition of suppliers from different sectors and a business meeting with national and international companies, it is intended to activate the economy and promote productive linkages through the positioning of the regional industry, promoting in turn the decrease in imports of existing inputs in Guanajuato, promoting exports and the generation of business in the short, medium and long term.

DIVEX will integrate the following industries: automotive, aerospace, agro-industrial, medical, furniture, chemical, plastic, textile, hygiene and personal care.
