Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the next ANPIC in May is canceled

With a press release dated March 26, from the Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico (APIMEX), organizer of ANPIC, announced the cancellation of the event. This was confirmed by the entity president -Lic. David Novoa Toscano-, who also reported that the decision to cancel the fair, scheduled between next May 20th and 22nd, is for the prevention of infections by Covid-19 and taking into account the health professionals indications.

The disposal privileges the well-being of exhibitors, associates, buyers, visitors and collaborators, despite the negative repercussion that it would produce in the economy of the leather-footwear industry and at the regional level.

ANPIC, which has two editions per year, helding on the Poliforum of León, Gto. has a very good international reputation, due to the market volume and the content of its offer, as a benchmark in the suppliers field.

To conclude, the statement says that "the measure to suspend this edition of the fair is an unprecedented event in more than 40 years of our association, being very painful due to the economic impact which generates in the region and in the leather-footwear sector".
