In the case of Mexico, he said that “according to estimates by the Institute for Industrial Development and Economic Growth, the figure could reach 1.8 million jobs lost this June. "As is known, concerned about people's health and following the instructions of the health authorities, we made the difficult decision not to carry out our ANPIC fair in more than 54 editions to avoid the risk of Covid-19 infection between our visitors who come from 29 countries. This suspension has had a severe impact on the economy of our state, with estimated losses of more than 597 million pesos", said David Novoa Toscano.

To give a finished sample of the scope of the event, the executive reported that "in each edition, an estimated economic income of 600 million pesos is produced for various concepts such as contracting suppliers, stands, direct and indirect jobs, purchases, services in hotels and restaurants, among others, generating great dynamism in the economy of the state, the country and internationally".
