The Asian fair will take place from Wednesday to Friday in Halls 1 and 2 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
In its second edition, the event expects to host over 250 exhibitors and attract a presence of more than 5,000 visitors, as reported by APLF -the event's organizer-.
The APLF ASEAN offer ranges from raw materials to finished products, including hides and skins, alternative materials, functional fabrics, components, machinery, as well as footwear and leather goods.
Simultaneously, the exhibition will provide insights into upcoming trends in materials, leather, and colors; access seminars and workshops dedicated to leather and sustainability; and facilitate business meetings between visitors and exhibiting companies.
Leather and leather goods find a regional design center in Thailand, with an export and import market for this offer. Additionally, Bangkok is close to other ASEAN markets that produce furniture and fashion accessories.
The ASEAN region is known as a hub for manufacturing and marketing hides and skins, and products made from these materials, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia. Furthermore, it positions itself as the fifth-largest economy globally, behind the United States, China, Japan, and Germany.
