APLF DUBAI: A new venue, in a high potential market

APLF DUBAI. A new meeting point with international suppliers of materials, supplies and technology, plus finished products.

APLF Dubai will take place between Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th March 2023, in halls 1, 2 and 3 called Sheikh Saeed of the Dubai World Trade Centre fairgrounds. Thus, the event will bring together three exhibitions: APLF Leather, Materials+ and Fashion Access.

The chosen location will make it possible to resume relations with buyers from America and Europe, who will benefit from the greater proximity of the exhibition; while having the opportunity to contact new visitors, from countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia or the local market.

In addition, Dubai stands out for its proximity to the footwear and leather industries, established in Europe, Africa and the Indian subcontinent, among others, according to the organizers of the event.

In its last edition of 2022, APLF Dubai had the participation of 463 exhibitors, representing 34 regions and countries. The event was also structured through spaces dedicated to the pavilions of various nations, in which France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Georgia, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, India, Egypt, Japan, the United States and Brazil stood out.

Three proposals for a comprehensive offer

In each edition, the leather sector is represented at APLF Leather, bringing together international suppliers, tanneries, buyers and designers.

The exhibiting companies focus on the supply of hides and skins, materials, chemicals, machinery, aimed at the clothing, footwear, upholstery, leather goods and interior design industries.

In addition, it has the presence of relevant associations worldwide, such as the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), Assomac Servizi Srl, the Leather and Hide Council of America, the French Tanners Association (FFTM), and the Council for Leather Exports of India.

For its part, Materials+ invites to discover materials other than leather, sustainable, innovative and traditional. The proposals include synthetic, natural and woven materials; accessories; shoe components; supplies, machinery and technology.

Finally, Fashion Access exhibits a range of products that includes footwear, leather clothing, bags and accessories. It is also a space to find Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
