In the year 2020, a new stage will begin for the fairs that are part of APLF. In this sense, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center will be the exhibition grounds that will house APLF LEATHER, MATERIALS+, FASHION ACCESS and CASHMERE WORLD.
Under a comprehensive idea that includes the entire supply chain of the fashion and leather sector, between Tuesday 31 March, Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 April, a new concept will be presented through these exhibitions. A way for each fair to gain greater prominence on its own. This is how MATERIALS+ will be separated from APLF LEATHER, in order to highlight the difference between different materials and skins and leathers. Moreover, the arrangement of events within the exhibition center will be modified. From the next edition, level 3 will be occupied by APLF LEATHER, while MATERIALS+, FASHION ACCESS and CASHMERE WORLD will be relocated to level 1. This new layout will allow the hides and skins sector to have a greater exhibition area.
The greater specificity in each fair, in turn allows a better differentiation of the products exhibited in each of them. Thus, at APLF LEATHER the skins and leather in various finishes, chemical products and machinery for tanneries, among others will be part.
In MATERIALS+, it will be presented natural, synthetic and woven materials; supplies; footwear components; technology and tools; etc. This segment focuses on the Athletic Leisure phenomenon, with products crossed by handicrafts and design, as well as functional and high performance components.
Meanwhile, in FASHION ACCESS will participate independent firms and manufacturers of original products and white label industries (ODM and OEM), which will exhibit footwear, handbags, travel goods, leather goods, leather garments and fashion accessories.
