Due to pandemic, APLF Leather is postponed until 2022
APLF Leather, Materials+ and Fashion Access postponed their face-to-face editions. In this sense, the fairs will be held in Hong Kong, between Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st March and Friday 1st, April 2022, with the November version of this year being canceled, as reported by APLF.
The organization hopes that, towards the new date of celebration of the events, there will be better conditions regarding quarantines and international travel. Currently, it is necessary to carry out a 7-day isolation upon arrival in Hong Kong, in addition to the implementation of limitations on travel from the countries from which the foreign concurrence comes.
Representatives from more than 90 nations are part of the fairs held in the Asia Pacific region, where the different actors from the industrial sector have the opportunity to make contacts, networking and business. While APLF Leather focuses on the offer of leathers, Materials+ proposes innovative components and materials; and Fashion Access showcases fashion accessories.
For its part, with the aim of maintaining relationships between buyers and exhibitors, APLF created SAMPLEROOM, a marketplace dedicated to industry contacts and supply. The digital tool is proposed as an option to carry out business, in a context of restrictions resulting from the pandemic.
