FRANCAL ABLAC SHOW
At the end of June 2021, the organizers of the event defined its realization for August 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2022.
The decision to move on to next year was made based on the persistence of the health situation in the country and abroad, for which the government and competent authorities have not yet authorized this type of activity in the city of São Paulo.
In the statement distributed by FRANCAL, it is mentioned that "the state government scheduled an "event-test" for the end of July, with limited audiences, mandatory testing and applications of security protocols, to verify the viability of these meetings, which by their nature, they bring together a large number of people”.
"Thus, all participants will be monitored for the next two weeks, and in this way, the authorities will make a decision about whether or not to hold business fairs in the state".
Faced with this situation, FRANCAL pointed out that "due to the indefinite scenario and the limited time available for planning and executing all the procedures necessary for its relization, we decided to postpone FRANCAL ABLAC SHOW -52nd International Fashion Fair in Footwear and Accessories- to on August 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2022, in the Yellow Pavilion of Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo”.
It is to remember that initially the fair had been scheduled, in person, for August 11th, 12th and 13th, 2021, in the same place.
The event is organized by FRANCAL Feiras and the Brazilian Association of Artifact and Footwear Retailers (ABLAC).
COUROMODA
It carried out a new DIGITAL edition on June 7th, 8th and 9th, which under the slogan "Summer in First Hand", presented the trends for the Summer season.
The fair organization reported on the results obtained in the three days of the exhibition. COUROMODA DIGITAL had the participation of 1,900 traders, with a volume of more than 6 thousand visits that accessed around 24 thousand pages.
This latest June version integrated the COUROMODA ALL YEAR ROUND project, which covers four editions during 2021 digitally. Two fairs have already been held, which took place in March and June, and those corresponding to the High Summer presentations from August 23rd to 25th and the COUROMODA Preview from November 3rd to 5th remain.
Finally, the closing of this program will be between Sunday 16th, Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th January 2022, when COUROMODA is held in person, at the Expo Center Norte of São Paulo.
FIMEC
The international supplier fair -FIMEC- will take place in person between Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th March 2022, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the FENAC exhibition center in Novo Hamburgo/RS.
The 45th edition of the event will take place under the concept "The only one who has everything to create tomorrow" which, taking into account the new market trends, will focus on the sustainability of the footwear-leather industry.
The exhibition will be a meeting point for the entire production chain of the aforementioned segments, where the exhibition offer will include hides and skins, materials and components, chemical products, machines and technology, and fashion services.
In addition, taking into account the pandemic situation and government regulations, visitors and exhibitors will participate in the event with the corresponding biosafety protocols, implemented by Fenac.
The last edition of FIMEC, held in 2020, had the participation of almost 500 exhibiting companies -90% local and 10% foreign-, exceeding 30 thousand square meters of surface. The approximate attendance was 18 thousand visitors, also with a presence of 90% nationals and 10% international, where Latin Americans prevailed.
