Haroldo Ferreira, president of ABICALÇADOS, emphasized the fair's role in demonstrating the strength of Brazil’s footwear production—the fourth largest in the world and the largest in the West. “Brazil is an important global showcase of footwear design, innovation, and sustainability. The results of this edition allow us to be optimistic for the sector, which expects to grow by more than 2% in 2025, reaching a production volume of over 940 million pairs of shoes,” he stated.
João Paulo Picolo, CEO of NürnbergMesse Brasil, celebrated BFSHOW’s status as the largest trade fair in the sector across Latin America. “With 30% more space, the exhibition will continue to grow in the coming years. All exhibitors were very satisfied with the flow of both domestic and international visitors. The prevailing feeling is that we delivered,” he said, noting that 76% of the spaces for the next edition in November are already sold.
Feedback gathered from various exhibitors was highly positive regarding the results achieved. Most confirmed strong business deals and highlighted the high qualification level of the buyers. They also agreed that international attendance was highly significant, opening new export markets in the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe.
Finally, the majority of participants—both exhibitors and visitors—rated the event's organization as excellent, on par with the best international events in the sector.
The next BFSHOW will take place from November 10 to 12, 2025, in the Anhembi district of São Paulo/SP. The May 2026 edition is scheduled for the 18th to the 20th, at the same venue.
