BFSHOW. Organized by ABICALÇADOS, the event aims to internationalize the local industry.

With only one edition under its belt, the new Brazilian footwear fair will hold its second edition in São Paulo, specifically at the Transamerica Expo Center exhibition venue. BFSHOW will serve as the platform for showcasing "Made in Brazil" proposals. Thus, collections for the upcoming season will feature quality and diversity, encompassing a wide range of footwear for women, men, and children. On this occasion, exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect with local retailers and buyers from abroad during three days of business, meetings, and networking, enhanced in turn by the Buyers Program.

The event is organized by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (ABICALÇADOS) and the German company NürnbergMesse/Brazil, entities that have raised expectations for this edition based on the results achieved in November 2023.

Furthermore, considering that BFSHOW will take place in São Paulo, forecasts for participants, buyers, importers, and visitors in general have significantly improved. This is due to the city's strategic geographical location, equidistant to all points within the country and international centers.

First edition receives widespread approval

In November 2023, the event was held at the FIERGS events center in Porto Alegre. Featuring 137 stands, the exhibition showcased a diversified offer with a high standard of fashion updates and quality. According to the fair's promoters, exhibitors came from different manufacturing areas of Brazil.

There was also a strong presence of international buyers, invited by the Brazilian Footwear program with the support of APEX-BRASIL, the export promotion agency.

In this regard, 150 buyers and representatives from international groups from 30 countries gathered, successfully conducting significant business with Brazilian manufacturers.
