CALZAFERIA: Call for National and International Buyers
In one of the largest footwear production areas, Trujillo (560 km north of Lima), the next edition of CALZAFERIA -El Porvenir International Footwear Fair- will take place between October and November at the Municipal Sports Complex in Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru.
It is estimated that the region is home to more than 4,000 small establishments dedicated to the production of leather goods, with 300 exhibitors expected at the event. Due to the critical economic situation facing the sector, industrial representatives and the government have launched an intensive promotional campaign for the fair to attract more buyers from across the country and abroad.
During the event, a series of complementary activities will take place, including the National Shoemakers Convention, where Peruvian manufacturers will meet to discuss various topics of interest to the industry.
