EXICAL: the footwear offer from the country’s interior
The Footwear Exhibition of the Central Region (EXICAL) takes place from 7 to 9 February 2026 at FORJA Centro de Eventos, in the city of Córdoba. The event is organized by the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Córdoba together with the Chamber of the Footwear and Related Industries of the Province of Santa Fe.
Focused on finished footwear, the fair brings together more than 150 companies from the leather and footwear sector, coming from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe, which present their collections for the Autumn-Winter 2026 season. The exhibition attracts manufacturers of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear, as well as leather goods companies and distributors of national and imported brands.
EXICAL usually receives visits from commercial operators, wholesale representatives, designers, industry suppliers and stakeholders linked to the sector from all provinces of the country. Its strategically central geographic location allows easier access for visitors from the most diverse parts of the national territory.
Its profile is centered on facilitating direct contact between manufacturers and retailers at a key moment for planning the winter season and placing orders within the wholesale channel.
Although in its latest 2025 edition it reflected the contraction affecting the production and commercial segments of the value chain, with more rational and limited sales, the event once again showed a good turnout of exhibitors and visitors in search of new business opportunities. The offer is traditionally very diversified due to the wide variety of products on display, which seek to meet the different needs of buyers.
