The 98th edition of EXPO RIVA SCHUH, together with the 9th version of GARDABAGS, will take place from Saturday to Tuesday in different locations in Riva del Garda, in northern Italy, in the province of Trento.
On this occasion, the collections of the Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 season will be presented, with a diversified offer of sports, casual, elegant, outdoor and children's footwear, not only local but also from abroad, through representatives of value brands or of volume footwear.
In addition to the multiplicity of exhibited proposals, the fair is also an opportunity to place orders with a view to the future season, or replenish inventory, thanks to the date it is held.
That is why, from the organization of the event -Riva del Garda Fierecongressi-, work is being done so that the fairs focus on business, are an area for the generation of networking and provide an exhibition with a variety of products.
Internationalization is also an important part of both exhibitions. In this regard, its promoters announced the participation of representatives from Europe, mainly from Scandinavia, as well as French, Portuguese, Spanish and those from the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
The Latin American presence will be marked by the effect that nearshoring has generated in strengthening this sector, hand in hand with the substitution of Asian production for local production. From the same continent, delegations from the United States and Canada will also take part, through a joint effort with the American Association of Independent Retailers (NSRA).
The event will welcome buyers and exhibitors from India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
“We are working to expand the exhibition offer by bringing in additional countries, also thanks to the international network of partners working on markets that are strategic for us. We are focusing on valuable brands and reliable private label manufacturers”, said the exhibition manager of EXPO RIVA SCHUH and GARDABAGS -GianPaola Pedretti-.
Taking into account the possible limitations on travel that would remain in some countries, the organizers will provide the Hybrid Service, which consists of the exhibition of the products in person and contact with the exhibiting companies, through digital media.
Sustainability will be a key factor in the development of the fair, with special emphasis on the concept of traceability; while the Innovation Village Retail will be the space for the distribution segment.
