EXPOCUC: Another significant showcase of Colombian offerings
With two editions per year (April and September), the footwear and manufactured goods exhibition in Cúcuta has consolidated in recent editions as an interesting business platform for regional manufacturers. Its proximity to Venezuela benefits it, as numerous buyers from various parts of that country attend, facilitated by the reopening of the border.
Organized by CORPOINCAL -the Corporation of Footwear and Similar Industrialists- the April 2024 edition featured 120 exhibitors, who achieved initial sales of approximately 600,000 pairs. The fair has escalated to an international level, as in addition to national clients, buyers from Guatemala, the United States, Costa Rica, and Ecuador have attended.
Even without defining the dates of the event, the next September edition is awaited with expectations, which usually takes place at the Hotel Casino Internacional in Cúcuta, capital of the Norte de Santander department.
