The International Fair of Leather, Chemicals, Components, Machines and Equipment for Footwear and Tanneries (FIMEC) will hold its 48th edition from Tuesday to Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Under the slogan “Where sustainability, business, and relationships converge,” the event will take place at the FENAC exhibition center in Novo Hamburgo, serving as a key meeting point for the industry.
The Brazilian supplier exhibition is considered the most important in Latin America for the footwear and leather sector, bringing together the entire chain of this industry, from production solutions to logistics.
In addition to the exhibits, FIMEC will feature the Concept Factory area, where visitors can observe practical applications of technology, usability, and development through live demonstrations of footwear manufacturing and the various stages of the production process.
Another confirmed highlight is the CICB Sustainability Forum, which will address key topics for the leather supply chain.
This year’s exhibition hosted around 400 exhibitors from Brazil and abroad, including Italian and Asian companies, positioning Brazil as a leader in the leather-footwear sector.
Regarding attendance, the event welcomed approximately 20,000 visitors from diverse backgrounds.
