The largest national promoter of fairs FRANCAL joined the Brazilian Association of Footwear Merchants -ABLAC-, which has 1,800 associates and 14,000 sales points, to incorporate all segments of the productive and commercial chain in the same and unique objective: promote the footwear market.
The new FRANCAL ABLAC SHOW project will address the development of the sector, according to the latest trends in consumption, and will have the Permanent Council of Footwear as an advisory support, composed of associations such as ABLAC, ABICALÇADOS, ASSINTECAL, ABRECAL, CICB and FRANCAL itself, together to professionals from other areas, who will be invited to exchange ideas and good business practices.The novelty of this brand new partnership is the new program of fairs that establishes that from June 1 to 3, 2020, will be held the 52nd FRANCAL, now called FRANCAL ABLAC SHOW, at the Expo Center Norte of São Paulo, with the footwear collections for Spring-Summer.
In the exhibition, "100% Varejo" will be carried out again, an integrated service for merchants, which will cover technological and consumption aspects, and trends, of remarkable success in the last edition of 2019.
Then, in the second fortnight of August 2020, a new event will be held for theHigh Summer collections, which will generate a new business opportunity in the annual calendar of the sector. Its relevance in terms of sales is that manufacturers and merchants together will meet the specific demands of retail for the period from October 2020 to March 2021.
This second edition of FRANCAL ABLAC SHOW will count with an innovative layout, with a business hall format and standardized stands, as well as a workshop with various contents. The event will also be held at the Expo Center Norte of São Paulo.Among other joint actions of FRANCAL and ABLAC, it includes the formation of a merchants group to visit the NRF, the the Big Retail Show Expo 2020, to be held in New York, between January 12 and 14, 2020. The event is a world reference in content and technologies for this commercial segment.
Then in February a meeting will be held in São Paulo with members of the international mission, open to the entire sector, to present the new trends in trade and the main insights of the fair and congress in the United States.
In the calendar of activities it is also include regional business rounds, with new methodology, in places to be defined. The initiative contemplates putting “face to face” for 3 days, buyers with industrialists, with the aim of bringing merchants closer to their suppliers to generate new businesses.For the president of ABLAC, Marcone Tavares, “this marks the beginning of a new stage in our sector, which demands new actions to face known difficulties. For several consecutive years, negative results have been registered due to the lack of communication between industry, commerce and services. We will transform this reality, all together.”
Meanwhile, the president of FRANCAL, Abdala Jamil Abdala, declared that “we want to strengthen our role to promote the development of the entire footwear, manufactures and accessories chain, generating business between the Brazilian industry, national and international trade. Confirming FRANCAL as the main connection platform with the footwear market”.
