The Spanish Association of Footwear Components Companies (AEC) -organizing entity of FUTURMODA-, is already planning the 48th edition of the fair, for Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th October 2022, at the Institución Ferial Alicantina.
This was announced after the end of the March 2022 version, which took place between the 23rd and 24th at the same fairgrounds.
At the International Fair of Leather, Components and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods, 310 companies exhibited their proposals for Spring/Summer 2023. In addition to local participants, exhibitors from France, Portugal, Italy and Romania were also registered. Thus, international representation reached 30% of the total number of exhibitors, as reported by FUTURMODA.
The companies that were part of the event expressed very positive opinions about the edition, which offered the opportunity to interact with regular visitors and reach new customers.
For Manuel Román -president of AEC- the exhibition was good, and both the quality and the quantity of visitors met expectations. The leader stated: "The quality of the visitor has been good, there has been a lot of footwear manufacturers and the exhibitor is happy."
The good results occurred within the framework of the transportation strike that, if it continued, could have affected certain productions in the following days. To this was added the increase in energy and raw materials, which did not allow setting prices.
