FUTURMODA is postponed to the end of March 2022

The organizers decided to change the date in the face of the challenges posed by the pandemic.

In Spain, FUTURMODA brings together local and foreign suppliers.

The Spanish supply fair, originally scheduled for next March 9th and 10th, was rescheduled for Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th of the same month.

The modification was carried out by the Organizing Committee of FUTURMODA, after consultation with the exhibitors and in order to maintain the moments for the generation of business -due to the overlap with other international events- and prevent infections, within the framework of the sixth wave of COVID-19.

Thus, the International Exhibition of Leather, Components and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods will hold its 47th edition at the Alicantina Fair Institution (IFA) in Elche. The trends for the Spring/Summer 2023 season will be presented there, with an exhibition that includes skins, hides and leather; accessories in general; synthetics, textiles and fabrics; shoe components; chemical products.

At the end of January, the exhibitors confirmed for the next edition exceeded 90% of the total participation registered in the March 2020 version, as reported by the Spanish Association of Components and Machinery for Footwear (AEC), organizer of the exhibition.

At the same time, the fair will offer various complementary spaces, such as the Trend Show, Expert Forum and the Technology Area and Futurmoda Green Planet, the latter aimed at ecological proposals. In this sense, the event hopes to capture the attention of visitors related to the footwear, fashion accessories, leather goods sector, as well as modelers and designers.
