The 50th edition of the International Footwear & Leather Show (IFLS) and the 32nd edition of the International Exhibition of Leather, Supplies, Machinery and Technology (EICI) took place from July 1 to 4, 2025, at the Corferias fairground in Bogotá.
Over four days, business deals exceeding US$ 7.5 million were closed, resulting from agreements between national and international buyers and exhibitors.
The event drew 5,670 specialized visitors interested in discovering the latest sector innovations and building commercial relationships. It featured 371 exhibitors showcasing finished products such as footwear and leather goods, supplies, components, machinery, and technology for the industry.
Collaboration with ProColombia boosted international buyer participation by 73% compared to July 2024. In total, 45 representatives from nine countries attended, including Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. This result strengthened the fair’s internationalization strategy and consolidated its role as a key platform for accessing global markets.
Organized by the Colombian Association of Footwear, Leather and its Manufactured Goods Industrialists (ACICAM), this edition marked 25 years of history, reaffirming its role as an essential meeting point for the footwear, leather, leather goods, and manufactured goods sectors, both nationally and in the Andean region.
The fair reinforced its position as a showcase for the industry, promoting Colombian talent while creating new business opportunities and boosting activity in the sector.In 2026, IFLS+EICI will be held from February 3 to 6, with an emphasis on sustainability, segmentation of the commercial offering, and the sophistication of national products, according to the organizers.
On this point, ACICAM president -Marcela Caicedo-, stated: “I want to share with you that we are already working on the next edition with a renewed, more strategic approach focused on business, with fresh ideas and the firm commitment to continue strengthening this event.”
