What are the novelties of IFLS+EICI in February 2024?
Between Tuesday 6th and Friday 9th February, the 47th edition of IFLS (manufacturers) and the 29th version of EICI (suppliers) will take place. The event will be held at the Gran Salón of the Corferias exhibition center in Bogotá.
The fair will showcase the trends for Fall/Winter 2024-2025 in finished products such as footwear, leather goods and leather clothing, as well as supplies, raw materials, technology, and machinery for related industries.
In this regard, the product exhibition will be carried out by more than 450 exhibitors, both local and international. The Colombian Association of Footwear, Leather and its Manufactured Goods Industrialists (ACICAM) -the organizer of the show- reported the presence of national exhibitors from Restrepo, as well as CORPOINCALS, VASSAR, and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, the Government of Sucre, and the Mayor's Office of Floridablanca, among others.
Internationally, the Colombian fair will have the participation of Brazilian, Mexican, Venezuelan, Turkish, Italian and Spanish companies.
The overall exhibition offer will continue to seek to generate business and contacts with Colombian visitors, but also from Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the United States, in an edition that expects an attendance of over 10,000 people.
Regarding this, the executive president of ACICAM -Germán González- stated: "The opening of the events calendar with the IFLS+EICI 2024 fair commits us to continue strengthening our relationships with all participants, adopting sustainable and innovative practices and maintaining high-quality standards."
In February, the trade fair proposal will also include services related to artificial intelligence, including 3D modeling and animation, VFX production, augmented and virtual reality, metaverses, and hyper-realistic avatars. The exhibition will be carried out by companies presenting technological solutions and smart devices.
Another novelty will be the combination of the vision of the Venezuelan artist Alejandro Crocker and the brand Cueros Vélez, in a co-creation that will contribute information and fashion.
The EICI Pavilion will be the space where the trend forum, FlashMob, and the exhibition of supplies by Inspiramais from Brazil will be concentrated, which will also offer talks related to product development, innovations, etc.
The program proposed by the event's organization will include topics such as foreign trade, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and sector figures.
