EFICA: starts sales for Autumn-Winter 2022
The 105th edition of the EFICA footwear fair is held on Sunday 9th, Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th January 2022, at the Centro Costa Salguero fairground in Buenos Aires. The scheduled time is between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the first day; and from 12 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the last two.
In 5 thousand square meters of exhibition space in pavilions 2 and 3 of the exhibition center, the exhibition has the presence of more than 200 brands, represented by 100 Argentine footwear manufacturers.
In this edition of EFICA, the exhibition space includes high-end sectors.
In addition, taking into account the health crisis still in force, the corresponding protocols are implemented and the participants are required to social distancing and wear masks.
Complemented with virtual tools, the fair also offers a catalog with information on the exhibiting companies and their collections. In turn, an On-Line Pre-Accreditation system was implemented through a QR code to enter the event, as reported by the Chamber of the Footwear Industry (CIC) of Buenos Aires, organizer of EFICA.
EXICAL: business is concentrated in Córdoba
On Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th and Monday 14th February, will open its doors EXICAL of footwear, leather goods and suppliers, at the Forja premises in Córdoba.
In this edition, the Fall/Winter 2022 collections will be presented, with exhibitors from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe.
In addition to the physical exhibition, the digital platform will remain active throughout the season, between February and June, as reported by EXICAL.
Both the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Córdoba, as well as the Chamber of the Footwear and Related Industry of the Province of Santa Fe -organizers of the event- work to provide the national industry with the appropriate and updated tools to favorably restart a new growth cycle, in the aftermath of a health crisis that strongly affected the sector.
The expectations are to receive buyers from all over the country and make the first seasonal sales.
In mid-February 2022, EXICAL will be another meeting point between manufacturers and buyers of footwear and leather goods.
EXPOCAIPIC: in May, with the Spring-Summer 2022/23 proposals
CAIPIC authorities and staff are already working on planning the next supplier fair to be held on May 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2022, in Costa Salguero, Buenos Aires. The advancement of the date of realization, with respect to previous calendars, is due to the purpose that manufacturers and designers have early access to the information and availability of seasonal materials and components to develop their samples.
For the occasion, it is expected to have a massive participation of exhibiting suppliers, taking into account that EXPOCAIPIC is an important benchmark of the local industry and of countries in the region, with which there are good projections to expand markets.
The final balance of the last EXPOCAIPIC in October 2021 was very positive for all its participants, due to the impulse that it meant to resume the face-to-face format in the sector, with prospects of recovering previous levels of business and activity.
For the next edition, new sectors of interest to visitors are being planned, along with a varied program of conferences and presentations on different topics related to the footwear industry.
