Burnout: Inspiration and future trends

Among the novelties of the next edition, INSPIRAMAIS will address the topic “Burnout", a trend that emerges as a response to increasing fatigue in working life. Walter Rodrigues, Coordinator of the event's Design and Research Center, explained that the “Burnout” concept will feature a particular aesthetic that blends Victorian style with elements of science fiction and high technology.

Materials inspired by this theme will include shiny finishes, robust details, and dark colors like navy blue and eggplant, along with classic and pastel tones, standing out as an innovative option for those seeking to adapt their products to emerging trends.

Pyramid Methodology: Structuring innovation

To organize the presentation of trends, INSPIRAMAIS uses the Pyramid Methodology, which divides the launches into three levels: innovation (10%), developing materials (30%), and consolidated products (60%).

At the top of the pyramid, the “Burnout” concept represents a "brutalist" scenario; at the mid-level, the theme "Peripherals" focuses on a decolonial perspective, featuring natural and colorful proposals; and at the base, the 60% represents intergenerational products designed to appeal to consumers of different generations with a maximalist and technological aesthetic. This methodology offers a comprehensive view, allowing attendees to observe the evolution of materials and applications.
