INSPIRAMAIS. Showcasing future trends for the fashion industry
The 30th edition of INSPIRAMAIS will take place between Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th, July 2024, at the FIERGS Events Center in Porto Alegre/RS. The fair will be a space for suppliers to exhibit materials, accessories, and components for the footwear, clothing, jewelry, and furniture industries, through the event's cross-cutting concept: Peripherals 2025_II.
According to Walter Rodrigues -Coordinator of Design and Research at the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (ASSINTECAL)-, future creations will be influenced by the reinforced identity of countries that are not first-world. From this concept emerges the theme "Malemolência", where brightness and movement prevail; while "Gingas" highlights lace, seeds, and natural materials. Additionally, "Cacophony/Imperfeição" proposes mixtures, overlays, and irregularities.
The January 2024 edition of INSPIRAMAIS brought together around 150 exhibitors at the FIERGS Events Center, with more than 8,000 visitors, representing a 30% growth compared to the previous version, according to its organizers.
Regarding the event, Silvana Dilly -Superintendent of ASSINTECAL- confirmed that, "in addition to the higher volume of attendees, we recorded a significant qualitative leap, with highly qualified visits". Highlighting the presence of representatives from Brazil's main footwear hubs and buyers from Europe and Latin America.
In this sense, the INSPIRAMAIS Buyer Project of Brazilian Materials generated exports of more than US$ 15.5 million, thanks to the participation of 22 international groups, from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, United States, and Portugal.
