INSPIRAMAIS: the incentive to creativity
The Hall of Design and Innovation of Materials and Components was held between January 14 and 15, 2020 in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It took place at the Pro Magno Event Center, which is 15 minutes away from the Expo Center Norte fairgrounds, where the footwear and leather goods fair -COUROMODA- was held, between January 13 and 15.
INSPIRAMAIS 2021_I was the framework for the celebration of the 10 years of the Brazilian supply exhibition. In turn, the concept that this edition went through was SYNCHRONY, a set of layers that constitute who we are and a mixture between the old and the new.
The exhibition offer consisted of around one thousand materials for the footwear, manufactures, clothing, accessories and interior designs sectors.
There were 190 exhibiting suppliers that received more than 7,800 national and international visitors. In addition to the presentation of trends, it was also a meeting point for conducting business and obtaining relevant information, through 30 debates, conferences and contact rounds.
In addition, the event proposed six special projects, with themes related to innovation in materials; presentation of prints; sustainability; components with designs, solutions and handicraft.
INSPIRAMAIS again showed its valuable fashion and innovation content, and was ratified as one of the greatest references for the manufacturing industry at regional and international level.
On the other hand, the trends in leather and skins formed the LEATHER PREVIEW, a space that summoned 16 Brazilian tanneries with their most recent proposals. Meanwhile, the IMAGE PROJECT promoted the fashion of Brazil by inviting 7 journalists from various parts of the world, with the purpose of spreading the “Made in Brazil”.
The BUYING PROJECT convened representatives from countries such as Argentina, Peru, Colombia, India, Ecuador and Mexico, through 30 invited companies. During the two days of the fair, 60 component producers set 800 business meetings with the project participants. This meant sales of US $ 1.5 million, which would reach approximately US $ 7 million, in the next six months.
Entities from various sectors are part of the organization of the fair, including the Tanning Center of Brazil (CICB); the Brazilian Association of the Textile and Clothing Industry (ABIT); the Brazilian Association of Companies of Component for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (ASSINTECAL); Tex Brasil and the joint program between APEX-BRAZIL and CICB -BRAZILIAN LEATHER-, in addition to BY BRASIL COMPONENTS AND CHEMICALS.
The next version of INSPIRAMAIS will take place between Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 July, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the first day, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the last day, at the Pro Magno Event Center, of São Paulo, Brazil.
On this occasion, the realization of INSPIRAMAIS will not coincide in its dates, as it was in previous years, with FRANCAL, the footwear fair at Expo Center Norte.
The latter move its programming forward from June 1 to 3, where it will present FRANCAL-ABLAC SHOW, in conjunction with the association of Brazilian merchants.
