LINEAPELLE. Trends in leather, materials and components for the fashion industry

More than 1,100 exhibitors and 24,977 visitors discovered the new proposals for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

Thousands of visitors from around the world confirmed LINEAPELLE’s leadership in the manufacturing sector.

From February 25 to 27, 2025, the supplier trade fair LINEAPELLE held its 105th edition at Fiera Milano Rho, once again consolidating its role as a key reference for the fashion, luxury, and design industries.

With the participation of over 1,100 exhibitors, the event attracted 24,977 professional visitors, including 18,833 buyers, an increase of 7% compared to the September 2024 edition.

Despite current economic challenges, the rise in attendance and the high level of innovation in the materials, components and accessories on display reaffirmed LINEAPELLE’s relevance in the sector.

The concept “My Head In The Clouds” guides the 2026 season

The LINEAPELLE Fashion Committee presented the Spring/Summer 2026 trends under the theme “My Head In The Clouds,” a concept that explores the ability to imagine, dream and push boundaries through creativity.

This approach, blending reflection and action, was embodied in the Trend Areas, where a selection of innovations developed by exhibitors was showcased. In addition, the Fashion Theatre hosted specialized presentations that delved deeper into the concept.

Runway shows, interior design and sustainability in the spotlight

The agenda of LINEAPELLE 105 included a variety of additional activities, including the Lineapelle Designer Edition, which featured seven fashion shows.

The event also offered a dedicated space for the interior design sector through Lineapelle Interiors, where 19+1 installations were displayed across a 1,000-square-meter area. These exhibits highlighted collaborations between tanneries, material producers and design studios, showcasing the value of Made in Italy and its capacity to inspire designers and architects.

Another highlight was the latest edition of the Science-Based Fashion Talks. Over six conferences, experts addressed critical topics for the industry such as durability and eco-design, natural fibers, restorative practices, downsizing facilities, data exchange, and deforestation prevention.

New location for the next edition

The trends for the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 season will be unveiled from September 23 to 25, 2025, during the 106th edition of LINEAPELLE.

On this occasion, the fair will undergo a change in layout within Fiera Milano Rho due to preparations for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

The Italian supplier fair will be held in Halls 1-3, 2-4, and 5-7, according to information provided by the event organizers.
