MICAM 2019: Footwear

September 15-18, 2019, Milan, Italy

The most recognized in the international arena

In the next edition of the Italian footwear fair -MICAM- version 88 will be developed, also to be celebrated within the framework of its 50th anniversary of existence. The appointment will be between Sunday 15, Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 of September, 2019 at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition grounds in Milan.

The exhibition organized by ASSOCALZATURIFICI - an entity that brings together the Italian footwear industry - will present the Spring/Summer trends with the exhibition of around 2 thousand shoe collections. The fair will take place under the concept of Beauty, contextualized in the work the Divine Comedy, by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

In each version of MICAM, 1,300 exhibiting firms participate, with a total of around 600 of foreign origin from approximately 30 countries. In September there will be the presence of Argentine and Brazilian representatives, according to the exhibitor catalog.

The 63 thousand square meters of exhibition space will contain five different categories of footwear: COMTEMPORARY -shoes with design content and medium-high range-; EVERYDAY -sneakers and products with rubber soles-; LUXURY - high level footwear; COSMOPOLITAN -free time-; and I-KIDS - children's product of medium-high range.

On the other hand, an area will be reserved for EMERGING DESIGNERS, where new local and foreign stylists will be able to exhibit their designs.

Greater space for sneakers

The novelty in this edition is PLAYERS DISTRICT, which will be located in Hall 7, together with COSMOPOLITAN's leisure time shoes. There, the novelties for sports and outdoor footwear will be presented, by international firms such as SKETCHERS and LOTTO.

On this occasion, The Arena section will also be part, dedicated to events and performances related to this sector.
