With positive results, a new edition of MOMAD was held between February 4th and 6th at the IFEMA MADRID fairgrounds in Spain. In this sense, the organization of the event pointed out that, under the slogan #ConnectandoLaModa of this version, they focused on the reactivation of the industry throughout this year.
The internationalization of the exhibition was demonstrated by the participation of 12 exhibiting countries, added to the presence of local firms. In total, the registration exceeded 330 brands and companies, which exhibited the trends in fashion, textiles and footwear for Spring/Summer 2022 and Autumn/Winter 2022-2023.
In addition, in pavilion 8 of the exhibition center, the International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Trade Show received 6 thousand visitors, exceeding by 11% the figures reported in the last edition of September 2021.
MOMAD was held in conjunction with BISUTEX, INTERGIFT and MADRIDJOYA, thus also including the costume jewelry, watchmaking, jewelry, gift and decoration sectors, as reported by its organizers.
Thus, between February 3rd and 6th, the four events managed to bring together more than a thousand exhibitors and a volume greater than 31 thousand visitors, all of them representing more than 77 countries.
The exhibitions were complemented with a program of conferences and presentations. Topics such as sustainability, circular economy, new materials in decoration and fashion, and brand strengthening were included in the Image Forum.
Between the deals made and the participation of the various actors, the final evaluation was satisfactory.
“The feeling we have after the celebration is very positive. We arrived at this beginning of the year with great uncertainty due to the celebration, even considering the possibility of not holding the fairs. However, the support and confidence received from the exhibitors, and the excellent precedent of the celebration of FITUR (International Tourism Trade Fair) a few days before, made us go ahead and celebrate on the scheduled dates. Proof of this are the excellent results obtained by the participants. This encourages us to continue working by and for the sectors in the next calls”, said Julia González -director of the exhibitions-.
In this regard, for the second half of 2022, the fair organization scheduled the celebration of MOMAD between Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September at IFEMA MADRID, this time separate from the other exhibitions.
