MOMAD: Footwear gains prominence within a fashion event
The International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Trade Show will take place from Friday to Sunday in Hall 8 of the IFEMA MADRID exhibition center. The event will be part of a series of exhibitions spanning five days, starting with Intergift from September 11th-14th, followed by Madridjoya and Bisutex from September 12th-15th.
All the shows will be held at the same venue, also covering the sectors of accessories, costume jewelry, jewelry, gifts, and decoration.
The presence of exhibitors exceeded 300 brands, with 31% representing new firms and 50% being international companies, according to the organizers.
The trends for Autumn/Winter 2024-2025 were presented, along with immediate service Spring/Summer 2024 proposals and high-demand collections, such as timeless ones.
Attendance at MOMAD exceeded 6,500 professionals, marking a 12% increase compared to the September 2023 edition. International visitors accounted for 16% and came from 59 countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Canada from the Americas; Germany, France, and Italy from Europe; Morocco and Lebanon from Africa; India, China, and Saudi Arabia from Asia; and Australia from Oceania.
The highlight of this edition is the new criteria for structuring the fair. The exhibition space included segments for event, party, ceremony, and guest; Casual Sector; contemporary, of high fashion; and environmentally friendly, Sustainable Experience.
